"We're honored to be invited by the Rhode Island Marine Trade Association and the U.S. Superyacht Association to speak with our marine industry peers about Dockwa's growth thus far and plans for the future," said Dockwa CEO Mike Melillo. "Dockwa was created in Newport, and the boating community here has shown us nothing but support since day one." As the only marina reservation platform to offer a seamless booking experience – in which the boater and marina manager can easily communicate through one website and app – Dockwa's expansion throughout New England has steadily grown since the launch of the app in May 2015.

The 2016 Newport International Boat Show has secured a record number of exhibitors, and organized more educational activities and attractions for showgoers than ever before, according to the show's owners and producers Newport Exhibition Group. One of the largest in-water boat shows in the country, the event will host nearly 600 exhibitors from around the world with an exceptional assortment of boats of every type and style from 15 to 110 feet, and a wide variety of accessories, equipment, electronics, gear and services for boaters.

This year’s show includes a powerful line-up of new boats and products making their U.S. debut, and for some, their world premier. In addition, there are a wide variety of new products for boat navigation and safety. “We take pride in organizing a show that is successful and worthwhile for exhibitors, attendees and sponsors,” said Show Director Nancy Piffard. “To stay relevant, we need to continuously attract new companies with new boat brands for showgoers to shop and compare. We also have to add programs that excite attendees and create experiences that even our long-time supporters will talk about for years to come.”
