The Dockwa Dollars program allows registered Dockwa Boaters (“Referring Boaters”) to earn promotional coupon credits (“Dockwa Dollars”) toward future Marina reservations by referring friends to Dockwa.

To participate, Boaters must agree to these terms, which become part of the Dockwa Terms of Service for Boaters. Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Dockwa Terms of Service for Boaters.

Each Boater may have a unique alphanumeric referral code (“Referral Code”), which is viewable on the Boater’s user profile.

Referring Boaters earn Dockwa Dollars when a referred friend who is a new user of the Dockwa platform (a “Referred Boaters”) (i) books the Referred Boater’s first Qualifying Reservations through the Dockwa platform, (ii) enters the Referring Boater’s Referral Code in the “coupon code” field when making that Qualifying Reservation, and (ii) completes that Qualifying Reservation.

Upon application of the Referring Boater’s referral code to the Referred Boater’s first Qualifying Reservation, the Referred Boater will also earn Dockwa Dollars that immediately apply to their first Qualifying Reservation.

Referring Boaters and Referred Boaters will be credited with Dockwa Dollars in the amounts described in an initial email inviting Dockwa users to the Dockwa Dollars program and subsequent communications with Dockwa users through email or the Dockwa platform.  Dockwa may, from time to time, impose reasonable caps on the amount of Dockwa Dollars that Referring Boaters may accrue.  Any caps on Dockwa Dollars will be communicated to users by email or through the Dockwa platform.

2. Qualifying Reservation

A “Qualifying Reservation” must be booked and paid for via the Dockwa platform, and the Referred Boater must complete the reservation before the Referring Boater can receive any Dockwa Dollars.  The Referred Boater will have his or her Dockwa Dollars applied to the total of his or her first Qualifying Reservation. The Referring Boater may not have any professional affiliation with the Marina at which a Qualifying Reservation is made.

3. Redeeming Dockwa Dollars

Dockwa Dollars may only be redeemed via the Dockwa platform, Application and Services. Any available Dockwa Dollars will automatically appear as credits on the reservation page. Dockwa Dollars are coupons issued for promotional purposes; they have no cash value and may not be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Dockwa Dollars may not be earned by creating multiple Dockwa for the same user. Dockwa Dollars accrued in separate Dockwa accounts may not be combined into one Dockwa account.

If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of Dockwa Dollars, please contact us. Dockwa may require you to submit additional information to confirm your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at Dockwa’s sole discretion.

You are responsible for any tax consequences that may result from your redemption or use of Dockwa Dollars.

4. Sharing Referral Links

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations.

5. Multiple Referrals

A Referred Boater may only use one Referral Code to complete their first Qualifying Reservation. If a Referred Boater receives Referral Codes from multiple Boaters, only the Referring Boater whose Referral Code is used by the Referred Boater will receive Dockwa Dollars.

6. Severability

If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

7. Termination and Changes

Dockwa may suspend or terminate the Dockwa Dollars program or a user’s ability to participate in the Dockwa Dollars program at any time for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Dockwa Dollars if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Dockwa Terms of Service for Boaters. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Dockwa Dollars can change at any time.

8. Updates to the Terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the dockwa.com website, Applications, or Services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Dockwa Dollars program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
